Dan Traglia is a drummer, session musician, and private teacher based out of the New York City Area known for his great feel and versatility. Drawing influence from a wide range of styles, Dan provides a uniquely personal approach to any musical setting while still preserving authenticity.
Dan started his drumming career at the age of 9 when he began studying under acclaimed drummer and educator, Joe Bergamini. He then continued his studies by completing a degree in Jazz Performance at William Paterson University.
Nowadays, Dan can be found freelancing as sideman both nationally and internationally with a number of different artists. His most notable experiences include a Latin American Tour opening for The Jonas Brothers as a member of Deleasa & The Foundation, during which time he made appearances on major television networks such as E!, E! Latino, and Fox 5’s Good Day New York.
Outside of playing live, Dan also enjoys a blossoming career as a studio session drummer for several independent artists, TV and Film. Currently, Dan is making his first venture as a bandleader with his band Radio Vandals under his newly formed entertainment company, MetroWave Entertainment.
As an educator, Dan has been heavily involved in teaching future generations of drummers by instructing and writing for high school drumlines throughout the North Jersey Area as well as maintaining a steadily building roster of private students as the owner of the DT Drum Studio.
